Cobalt blue flowers for weddings

Bright cobalt blue is one of the colours for 2013, but for wedding flowers blue is not always an easy colour to use.

These bright blue orchids floating in water in glass vases would make simple and elegant centrepieces.

I saw these trees with blue painted trucks in London, and thought of using branches painted blue for a themed wedding.

And for the bridal bouquet?
And these blue shoes would be cute.
With the bridesmaids blue dresses.

April wedding flowers- violets

When I think of April, I immediately think of violets!

The beautiful flowers of velvety purple with the most exquisite perfume.

If your wedding is of a vintage theme, then violets would be perfect.
Simple yet elegant.

Why not perfume your wedding venue with their scent too, and wear a violet inspired perfume like Penhaligon Violetta, at the less expensive Yardley April Violets.
