Trends for Wedding Flowers- Summer

SUMMER -Weddings

Delicate, feminine Ice-cream colours of pale pink, cream, pale apricot.

This works perfectly with roses. If you want the added bonus of scent then it has to be the fragrant David Austin varieties. I am fond of the beautiful roses called Avalanche and Sweet Avalanche- shown in the photo here-looking good enough to eat..> Yes I know they are not scented, but for weddings you can recreate this by spraying rose perfume around to give the same effect. Jo Malone Red Roses is perfect to give a true rose scent.

Style of flowers? For the bride a hand tied bouquet and something similar for bridesmaids.

In summer there is nothing nicer than Sweet peas in delicate pastel shades. In a tied bunch for a “just picked from the garden” look. Very simple, very English Country Garden. And with a divine perfume.
